#55
Driver – Bradley Neill
Team – Neill Motorsport
Car Model – Holden Commodore VS
Year Built – 1996
Built By: Perkins Engineering

Brief History: This car was built as a customer chassis for David ‘Truckie’ Parsons in 1996 by Larry Perkins’ organisation to replace another car that Perkins Engineering had built by the former truck racer that had failed and crashed at Bathurst in October 1995.
It was raced by Parsons during the 1996 Australian Touring Car Championship, raced at Albert Park in 1997 by Anthony Tratt and was then sold to Ballarat privateer Robert Smith, whose team ran the car at Bathurst in 1997 and 1998. Original owner Parsons co-drove with Smith at Bathurst in ’98 and ran the car in early 1999 before Smith raced it over the next few years in the then-new V8 Development Series and also Sports Sedans.
The car has been through the hands of a couple of owners since and was acquired by Toowoomba’s Bradley Neill in early 2016 with the ’96 Parsons Transport livery re-applied to the car for its first appearance at the Muscle Car Masters in October 2016.
