McADAM SEALS 2015 KUMHO SERIES

Western Australian Rullo took pole position yesterday his second of the season and finished third in yesterdays wet opening race. He finished second in both of todays races in dry conditions to seal second for the round overall.

The 15-year-old from Perth finished his debut V8 Touring Car season as series runner-up driving an ex-Prodrive Falcon for MW Motorsport.

Third overall for the weekend was Victorian Matthew Palmer his weekend highlighted by a third-place behind McAdam and Rullo in Race 3 in his ex-Brad Jones Racing Falcon.

Sydney driver Jim Pollicina secured the 2015 Privateers championship awarded to the highest-finishing driver with a privately prepared and run car in the series.

The 2012 Kumho Series runner-up was fourth overall for the round ahead of Poco Racings Steve Briffa who sealed second in the Privateers series for the season.

However Briffa was able to secure third place outright in the series behind teenagers McAdam and Rullo given there are separate pointscores for Outright Professional and Privateer categories in each race.

Action from the Sydney Motorsport Park round of the Kumho Series will air on SBS Speedweek on Sunday December 6.

The 2016 Kumho Tyre Australian V8 Touring Car Series calendar will be confirmed and announced within the next few weeks.
