JESUS RACING WORKING HARD ON 2015

Jesus Racing’s iconic Ford Falcon XYGT which competes in the Touring Car Masters Series has been put on a diet over the off-season with the team cutting out close to 20 kilograms in an attempt to get closer to the category’s minimum weight limit.

Having successfully competed in the last few rounds of the 2014 Touring Car Masters Championship as well as qualifying in 4th position at the Philip Island round the Jesus Racing team have purchased the XY and been searching for ways to increase the car speed.

“We sat down through the off-season and looked at what we needed to be fighting for the Championship. We have an updated engine package coming increased engineering support from Oscar Fiorinotto and the Supashock team and now we have a car that’s 40kg’s over the weight limit rather than 60kg!” said Fisher.

Having shaved over 20 kilograms from the car Fishtail is positive however there is still more weight to be lost.

The team now anxiously awaits the arrival of their freshly rebuilt 351-powerplant which is currently being built in Melbourne by Synergy Race Engines.
