Revised Super3 calendar confirmed

A revised Dunlop Super3 calendar has been confirmed, setting in place the final three rounds of the 2021 season.

Following a reshuffle of their own calendar due to the Sydney lockdown and border closures, the Supercars Championship has confirmed their final five events of the season.

Three of those will include the combined Dunlop Super2 and Super3 grids that have provided highly competitive racing so far this year.

The series will resume at the Winton SuperSprint on October 2-3, before returning to Mount Panorama for the Repco Bathurst 1000 on the new date of November 4-7.

The final round will be staged as planned at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on December 3-5.

All rounds will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and Kayo, while the Bathurst and Gold Coast rounds will also include coverage live and free on Channel 7.

“It’s a challenging time for everyone as calendar continually change and evolve as the ongoing Covid-19 situation does,” Dunlop Super3 series category manager Liam Curkpatrick said.

“However these new dates should give us plenty of time and opportunity to get the remainder of the season in.

“Winton has always been a popular spot for Super3 / V8 Touring Cars over the years, while the appeal of Bathurst and the Gold Coast speak for themselves.

“We have had some great racing so far and with the Super3 and Super3 Cup Championships still very much up for grabs, we’re looking forward to a competitive end to the year.”
