Final Bathurst race cancelled
THE final race in round 5 of the Dunlop Super3 Series race has been cancelled following torrential rain at Mount Panorama on Saturday.
The DS3 race was one of several sessions, including Carrera Cup and the Supercars Top 10 Shootout, to not be held on Saturday due to the adverse weather.
As a result the Round 5 podium was based on the results of Race 1, which was claimed by Kai Allen over Brad Vaughan.
Jason Gomersall claimed third outright and the Super3 Cup class in a sensational comeback from his hefty crash at Sandown last time out.
The Dunlop Super3 Series will be decided at the VALO Adelaide 500 in December on the streets of Adelaide.
