RUGGIER TAKES KUMHO V8 LEAD AT WAKEFIELD PARK

Thomas Randle won a wild Formula Ford encounter that was interrupted by two Safety Car periods to retrieve crashed cars.

The Sports Racers meanwhile saw Roger IAnson score victory as Adam Proctor and Aaron Steer clashed while contesting second place.
Proctor had taken the series lead from IAnson by scoring pole position earlier in the day before the incident saw the contest swing back in the South Australians favour.
A full day of racing action will complete the penultimate round of the Shannons Nationals on Sunday.
