FRIDAY ACTION FROM MUSCLE CAR MASTERS

THE Kumho Tyre Australian V8 Touring Car Series cars hit the track at Sydney Motorsport Park today for practice.

Across five, 15-minute sessions the teams and drivers used the opportunity to log valuable miles at the 3.9km Sydney circuit in cool but dry conditions.

Today's practice was run as a private day, meaning there was no timing so we can't tell you who was quickest.

We can say that the field looked great - with everyone fired up for a big weekend at the annual Muscle Car Masters event.

Here's a look at some of the images of the day, as captured by Rhys Vandersyde of InSyde Media.

Retro liveries are always a feature of the Kumho Series - and more important than ever at this event!
