THE KUMHO TYRE Australian V8 Touring Car Heritage Class could be set for a big season in 2017, at least if early interest is anything to go by.
While still remaining eligible for outright / Kumho Cup points, entrants running models up to and including Holden VX Commodore or Ford’s AU Falcon in the Kumho Series will be eligible for the Heritage class this year.

Moving away from the existing Pro / Privateer Structure, a new three-tiered arrangement will better categorise the field based not only on performance but also on the age of the vehicle entered.

The 2017 season will kick off at the WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint on April 21-23, joining the Supercars at the historic Victorian venue for the first time.
